Arterin Cholesterol is a unique, clinically proven formulation of herbal extracts and antioxidants for use on borderline cholesterol levels. The ingredients form a unique spectrum of effects and together contribute to an optimal effect on the cholesterol level and for a normal function of the blood vessels.

Bergamot (Citrus bergamia Risso et Poiteau) is a citrus fruit. It is also known as the "Queen of Citrus Fruits" due to its unique properties.
The bergamot extract in arterin cholesterol is unique and was developed by Italian pharmacists in collaboration with the University of Bologna in an extensive scientific work. The extract in arterin cholesterol has a particularly high concentration of flavonoids.

Osbeck) 200 mg, plant sterols 120 mg (12.24 g/100g), dry extract of artichoke (Cynara scolymus L.) 80 mg , L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C 20 mg = 25% RI)) 80 mg, L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C 20 mg = 25% RI), release agent (magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide), coating agent (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, calcium carbonate, polyethylene glycol), Dye (iron oxides).
levels1. Phytosterols have a chemical structure similar to that of cholesterol. Therefore, they have an inhibitory effect on cholesterol absorption in the intestine.
Some of the cholesterol in our body gets there with the food we eat. This is why a healthy diet is so important. Some of the cholesterol ingested with food is absorbed from the intestine into the bloodstream, so that the cholesterol level in the blood rises.
Phytosterols are cholesterol-like substances that occur naturally in low concentrations in plants (e.g. in fruit, vegetables or pine bark). Due to their cholesterol-like structure, phytosterols inhibit the absorption of cholesterol in the intestine, so that more cholesterol is excreted in the stool and less is absorbed into the bloodstream. This, in turn, helps lower total cholesterol.1
1 Phytosterols have been shown to lower blood cholesterol levels. High cholesterol is one of the risk factors for developing coronary heart disease. This is due to several risk factors. Changing any of these risk factors may or may not have a beneficial effect. A daily intake of 1.5 – 3 g of phytosterols has a positive effect on lowering cholesterol levels. A daily intake of at least 0.8 g is required to maintain normal blood cholesterol levels.
