Burn and wound gel Medice® combines three areas of application in one tube! The cooling gel has proven to be excellent for first aid and to support rapid healing for a wide range of indications. Due to its cooling, moisture-regulating and healing-promoting properties, Medice® burn and wound gel is ideally suited for the following areas of application:

Thanks to its pleasantly cooling effect, the hydrogel quickly alleviates symptoms such as pain, itching, feelings of tension, etc. The transparent, breathable gel film protects the wound like a second skin and supports the healing process. In addition, the risk of infection is reduced.
The most important effects of Medice® burn and wound gel at a glance:
- Cooling: The special gel formulation develops a pronounced cooling effect that lasts for a long time as soon as it is applied. It is precisely this cooling effect that quickly relieves the symptoms (pain, itching).
- Moisture-regulating: The air- and moisture-permeable gel film protects without affecting the self-cleaning drainage of the wound secretion

Apply a thin layer of Medice® burn and wound gel to the affected skin with clean and dry fingers or a clean cotton swab. Make sure that the opening of the tube does not come into contact with the wound.
If the cooling effect wears off, the application can be repeated in the same way. The duration of the application depends on the development of the healing process.
- Slow drying of the gel is desired with this preparation so that the cooling effect lasts longer
- On uncovered parts of the body you should avoid wearing a wound bandage if possible; however, this can be applied over the dry gel film if required
- Heavily exuding wound surfaces are cleaned with sterile swabs and only then treated with Medice® burn and wound gel. Medice® burn and wound gel should not be applied to large areas over a longer period of time
