To ensure absorption in the body, Doloctan® forte contains only body-identical and bioactive substances. As an essential component of nucleic acids, uridine monophosphate (UMP) is responsible for the formation of new RNA in the organism, even in the case of nerve damage. Furthermore, it promotes protein biosynthesis and accelerates the reconstruction of neuronal membranes. The two B vitamins folate (bioactive form of folic acid) and B12 work very closely together in the body and play an essential role in nerve metabolism. For example, B12 is involved in the formation of the myelin layer (protective covering of the nerve cell).
