How does the ingredient of the medicine work?
The oil comes from the peppermint plant. Peppermint preparations relieve cramps in the gastrointestinal tract, have a flatulent effect and stimulate bile flow and appetite. They inhibit the growth of germs. By stimulating cold receptors on the skin, the ingredients block pain receptors and cool swollen mucous membranes. When inhaled, peppermint oil has a cough-suppressing effect and liquefies stubborn phlegm.
