Indications
Maltodextrin 6 supports the adequate supply of energy, e.g
- illness-related underweight (e.g. in the case of tumors, HIV infection/AIDS, geriatrics, insufficient energy intake)

- Malassimilation (maldigestion, malabsorption)

Recommended intake:
Maltodextrin 6 can be used up to a dosage of 50 g to enrich 100 g of food with energy.
The daily total amount of maltodextrin 6 depends on the individual energy requirement and the respective dietary requirements.
Preparation:
Maltodextrin 6 can easily be added to many preparations for energy enrichment. It is preferably stirred into soups and sauces or into mushy dishes.
Fruit and vegetable purees, vegetable dishes, cream soups and fruity desserts are particularly suitable. Maltodextrin 6 has half the osmolality of maltodextrin 19 (compared to maltodextrin 19, twice the amount of maltodextrin 6 can be used with almost the same osmolality).
