Product information

For use in heartburn and acid-related stomach problems. Effective against heartburn

RIOPAN  MAGEN GEL has been specially developed to treat heartburn - one of the most common complaints caused by stomach acid. Its effect is based on the active ingredient magaldrate. The molecular layer lattice structure combines rapid effectiveness with good tolerability.

1st advantage: rapid onset of action

Heartburn is an inflammation or injury to the unprotected esophagus. Because of the pain and the danger to the esophagus, treatment that is as quick as it is reliable is indicated.
RIOPAN  STOMACH GEL has been specially developed for a rapid onset of action.  The liquid form of RIOPAN is decisive for the required, rapid onset of action : like a balm, it spreads soothingly over the damaged mucous membranes of the esophagus and stomach.

2nd advantage: lasting effect compared to traditional antacids

RIOPAN  MAGEN GEL is sufficiently dosed and, thanks to its molecular layered lattice structure, ensures that only excess acid is neutralized. Unused active ingredient remains in the stomach as an active ingredient reserve. In this way, multiple acid episodes can be combated with a single intake.

3rd advantage: good tolerability

RIOPAN  STOMACH GEL is well tolerated because the active ingredient only develops its effect at the destination, the esophagus and the stomach. This local mode of action significantly reduces the potential for side effects.

4th advantage: Activation of the body's own protective mechanisms

The gastric mucous membranes protect the stomach walls from the aggressive acid. The protective layer of gastric mucus can become too thin due to excess acid. The result: the stomach acid penetrates the protective gastric mucus layer. Those affected feel this in the form of a burning pain in the stomach.

- Acid stomach disorders
- Heartburn
- Stomach ulcers
- Duodenal ulcers
