Salviathymol N Madaus is a traditional, purely herbal mouth and throat therapy for mouth rinsing and gargling. It is used diluted with water.

Salviathymol N Madaus contains essential oils from various medicinal plants. With regular rinsing and gargling, the liquid will help prevent inflammatory processes and bad breath.

Inflammation in the mouth can affect the oral mucosa and gums and manifest themselves in various unpleasant ways. These include aching gums or canker sores, a sore throat caused by a cold or bad breath. The cause of the inflammation is an imbalance in the natural oral flora.

Salviathymol N Madaus acts specifically against the cause and can thus reduce inflammation and its unpleasant effects and promote the healing process.
It contains valuable vegetable oils from well-known medicinal plants, which together promote healing and have a pain-relieving effect in their combination of active ingredients: sage oil, eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil, cinnamon oil, clove oil, bitter fennel oil, star anise oil, levomenthol and thymol.

Salviathymol N Madaus is also suitable for oral care and to prevent inflammation and bad breath. With regular use, it strengthens the gums and oral mucosa against pathogens and is therefore suitable for the prophylaxis of periodontitis and gingivitis. It is very well tolerated, has a refreshing taste and does not stain the teeth.

Application
20 drops of Salviathymol N Madaus are added to 100 ml of lukewarm water. Rinse your mouth and throat, especially between your teeth, with this solution for about 2 minutes. Don't swallow

Adults and children over the age of 12 use 20 drops of liquid diluted in approx. 100 ml of lukewarm water 3 times a day. The rinsing time is approx. 2 minutes. Pull the liquid through the interdental spaces as well. Do not swallow and do not rinse with water. Can also be used as an additive for the daily oral irrigator.

Type of application?
Prepare the medicine and gargle or rinse the oral cavity with it. To do this, put it in a glass of lukewarm water (approx. 100 ml). After that, spit out the medicine and avoid swallowing it. It should only be used if the drug is safe to use.

Duration of use?
The duration of use is not limited. You should not use the drug for longer than 1 week without medical advice if your symptoms have not improved after this time.

overdose?
There are no known overdose symptoms. Special measures are therefore not required.

In general, pay attention to a conscientious dosage, especially for babies, small children and the elderly. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautions.

What should you consider?
- Beware of allergies to spices such as anise, mugwort, dill, fennel, carrot, coriander, cumin, paprika, parsley, celery and tomato!
- Be careful if you are allergic to the sweetener saccharin (E number E 954)!
- The drug contains small amounts of alcohol and should therefore be avoided by alcoholics.
- Beware of allergies to balsam of Peru and cinnamon.
