The intensively researched Pycnogenol® is the original extract from the bark of the French maritime pine. It takes 50 years for the trees, which are up to forty meters high, to be harvested, during which no pesticides or herbicides are used.

Sustainable cultivation under the French sun makes the trees an ideal source of special plant compounds that can develop over the years. Pycnogenol® contains a mixture of valuable secondary plant substances, including procyanidins, with antioxidant properties.

The unique special combination

• No other preparation contains Pycnogenol® in this balanced composition.
• The amino acid L-arginine forms the precursor of the vasodilator nitric oxide (NO). The supply tailored to the clinical picture regulates the endothelial function and promotes blood circulation. This improves the oxygen supply in the body and supports the regeneration of the vessels.
• As a coenzyme, R (+)-alpha-lipoic acid is involved in many enzymatic reactions in the body. As a radical scavenger and antioxidant, it can contribute to cell protection by regenerating used antioxidants.
