Eliminate zinc deficiency safely and effectively
Zinc is indispensable for many vital functions in the body. If the valuable trace element is missing, the immune system and thus our defense against pathogens is weakened. In addition, a zinc deficiency can lead to skin problems and impair numerous processes such as sugar metabolism, hormone production or hair growth. A zinc deficiency should therefore be prevented or, if there is a deficiency, you should take action at an early stage. If it is not possible to cover the zinc requirement through diet alone, a drug can support the adequate supply of the important trace element. Zinc Orotat-POS® can be individually
dose and thus adjust exactly to your personal zinc requirement. Thanks to the special protective film, the tablets can pass through the stomach undamaged, and the sensitive gastric mucosa remains protected. The zinc
is only released in the small intestine and can be optimally absorbed and utilized by the body there. Zinc Orotat-POS® is well tolerated. The drug is also suitable for the treatment of zinc deficiency during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as well as for children from the age of four.

Organic zinc compound for good bioavailability
There are many different zinc preparations. But not all of them can be absorbed and used equally well by the body. With zinc orotate POS®, an organic compound was specifically created. The zinc is bound to
natural orotic acid, which also occurs in the body. The bioavailability is therefore particularly good. Thanks to the substance-typical "delay effect" of zinc orotate, the zinc is released slowly and evenly
. In this way, the cells are continuously and continuously supplied with the important trace element. This positive effect is additionally supported by several smaller doses of zinc distributed throughout the day - instead of a single high
dose.

The amount of zinc required can vary greatly. Depending on age, gender, diet and many other factors, an individual dosage of zinc makes sense. Zincorotat-POS® covers this need because it can be dosed individually.

Dosage:

Take the zincorotat-POS® tablets whole with sufficient liquid - preferably water - at least half an hour before meals. The temporal separation
can significantly improve zinc absorption.

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, adults and adolescents from the age of 12 take 1 tablet of Zinkorotat-POS® 3 times a day, or 2 to 3 tablets a day for long-term use. Children between 4 and 11 years old take 1 tablet twice a day.

What speaks against an application?

Always:
- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients

Under certain circumstances - talk to your doctor or pharmacist about this:
- Restricted kidney function
- Kidney failure

Which age group should be considered?
- Children under 4 years of age: The medicine should not normally be used in this age group.

What about pregnancy and lactation?
- Pregnancy: consult your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the drug can be used during pregnancy.
- Breast-feeding: consult your doctor or pharmacist. He will examine your particular starting position and advise you accordingly as to whether and how you can continue breastfeeding.

If you have been prescribed the drug despite a contraindication, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit can be higher than the risk that the use entails in the event of a contraindication.

What adverse effects may occur?

Only side effects that have only occurred in exceptional cases so far are described for the drug.

If you notice any discomfort or changes during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

For the information at this point, side effects are primarily taken into account that occur in at least one in 1,000 patients treated.

What should you consider?
- Be careful if you are allergic to zinc!
- Be careful if you have an intolerance to glucose. If you have to follow a diabetic diet, you should consider the sugar content.
- There may be medicines with which interactions occur. You should therefore generally tell your doctor or pharmacist about any other medicine you are already using before starting treatment with a new medicine. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, use only occasionally or have been using for some time.
