Has an antispasmodic, diuretic and antifungal effect (fights disease-causing fungi); The anti-adhesive effect of Orthosiphon is also particularly noteworthy: "cat's beard" prevents the adhesion and penetration of bacteria into the bladder mucosa. In this way, the pathogens can be thoroughly combated and flushed out: In addition to the effective treatment of acute cystitis, the risk of recurring cystitis is also reduced.

Dosage and taking
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
- Adults and adolescents from the age of 12 take 2 Aqualibra® film-coated tablets 3 times a day with plenty of liquid.
- The film-coated tablets are swallowed whole.
- It can be taken with or without meals.
Important:
During the entire treatment period, it is important to ensure that you drink plenty of fluids (at least 2 liters per day). In this way, the diuretic and pathogen flushing effect can be supported.
In order to flush out as many pathogens as possible, Aqualibra® should be taken for a few days after the acute symptoms have subsided.
This thorough follow-up can reduce the risk of an infection coming back.
The duration of use depends on the type, severity and course of the disease and is to be determined by the doctor.
