Carmenthin noticeably relieves flatulence, a feeling of fullness and pain with the unique combination of active ingredients of peppermint oil and caraway oil. The active ingredients complement each other perfectly:

  • Peppermint oil is known for its pain-relieving and anticonvulsant effects. Discomfort in the gastrointestinal area, such as slight abdominal cramps, is reduced in this way.
  • Caraway oil has a deflating effect, calms the intestines and thus relieves flatulence and a feeling of fullness.

The highly dosed combination of peppermint oil and caraway oil is packed in an enteric-coated soft capsule. 

Application:

In order to achieve a lasting effect, it is therefore recommended to take it for 1-3 weeks. In this way, you can gradually monitor the success of your treatment. The recommended dosage is 1 capsule twice a day. To ensure a good effect throughout the day, the capsules should be taken in the morning and at noon 30 minutes before eating.

  • If you have forgotten to take Carmenthin ® for indigestion:

    • If you have forgotten to take Carmenthin ® for indigestion or have taken too little Carmenthin ® for indigestion, please continue taking the preparation as described in the dosage instructions next time.

    • If drugs that bind gastric acid (antacids) are taken at the same time, the gastric juice-resistant capsule coating of Carmenthin ® can be dissolved prematurely in the event of digestive disorders. Therefore, in the case of digestive disorders and antacids, Carmenthin ® should be taken with a time lag of at least one hour.

    • Carmenthin ® for indigestion should not be taken one to three hours after taking a proton pump inhibitor (medicine to reduce gastric acid), so that the enteric-coated capsule coating of Carmenthin ® in the case of indigestion does not dissolve prematurely .

    • People taking other medicines to reduce gastric acid should follow the recommended dosage carefully, according to which Carmenthin ® should be taken at least 30 minutes before meals, preferably in the morning and at noon, in the case of indigestion. If in doubt, ask a doctor or pharmacist.

  • Taking the drug with food

    • Since the gastric juice-resistant coating could be dissolved if food is eaten at the same time, Carmenthin ® should be taken at least 30 minutes before meals in the event of indigestion.

Contraindications :
