For hemorrhoidal problems
The ointment with the active ingredient witch hazel combats several symptoms at the same time: itching and burning are relieved and irritated skin is calmed at the same time. Inflammation is inhibited and wound healing is promoted.
An applicator is included for targeted application.
Note: Blood in the stool or bleeding from the intestinal and anus area always requires clarification by the doctor.
Care is the most important thing when it comes to hemorrhoidal problems. Moist cleaning and skin-friendly hygiene wipes with germ-reducing, washing-active substances often help to alleviate further complaints. The FAKTUclean wet wipes are particularly suitable - gentle on the skin, perfume-free and pH-neutral.
- Itching and pain in the anal area, as with:
- Haemorrhoids, mild forms
Consult your doctor if you experience blood in the stool or bleeding from the intestinal and anus area.

How does the ingredient of the medicine work?
The ingredients come from the Hamamelis plant and act as a natural mixture. About the plant itself:
- Appearance: about 3m tall shrub or small tree whose bright yellow, narrow-leaved flowers remain on the shrub at the same time as last year's fruit; the leaves can easily be mistaken for hazelnut leaves.
- Occurrence: North America
- Main ingredients: tannins
- Plant parts and preparations used: mainly extracts and tinctures of leaves, bark and twigs. Tannins react with the proteins of the (mucous) skin. They seal small injuries by forming a thin protective layer on the surface and reduce inflammation and minor bleeding.
