FEMALAC® contains the duo-active formula with D-mannose and lactobacilli. What does that mean? D-Mannose is a sugar that is also a natural component of human metabolism in small amounts. It can attach itself to the E. coli bacteria and then flush them out of the body via the urine. At the same time, this prevents the pathogen from settling in the walls of the urinary tract. Instructions for using FEMALAC® Bacteria Blocker
To prevent recurring bladder infections, you should take one sachet of FEMALAC® once a day and for supportive treatment (e.g. with antibiotics) twice a day. Always keep to the correct order:
- Put the powder in a glass.
- Fill it with 200 milliliters of water.
- Then stir the contents of the glass and drink it quickly.
Do not use FEMALAC® Bacteria Blocker if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any ingredient. Make sure that the medical device does not get into the hands of children, as it is only suitable for adults over the age of 18. Please refer to the package insert for further information.
Possible side effects of FEMALAC® Bacteria Blocker
FEMALAC® Bacteria Blocker is considered to be well tolerated when used correctly. Diarrhea is a possible side effect in rare cases.
Consult a doctor or pharmacist if
