FontActiv®Junior is an oral nutritional supplement, that provides a complete and balanced nutrition. It helps to cover the requirements of energy and nutrients of kids, from 1 to 14 years in those situations when diet is not enough. It can be used as a sole source of nutrition or as a nutritional supplement. FontActiv®Junior contains 13 vitamins and 14 minerals.

Protein:
Exclusively made from 100% whey protein, with a high biological value and high digestibilty.
Lipids:
Balanced fatty acid lipid profile,in which 27% of the fatty fraction is in MCT form: easy absorption and fast energy source. It is also enriched with essential fatty acids ω-6, ω-3 and DHA, which are important in the regulation of the inflammatory process. Cholesterol free.
Carbohydrates:
It provides more than half of the energy of the formula (53.5%), following the expert guidelines recommendations. FontActiv®Junior is lactose free so it can be used in lactose intolerants infants. (Not suitable for children with galactosemia).
Synbiotic effect:
Thanks to its combination of prebiotics and probiotics, it creates a healthy intestinal microbiota, avoiding the growth of pathogenic bacteria. In addition it improves the stimulation of the immune system, enhances the absorption of nutrients and regulates the bowel transit.
Vitamins and minerals:
The formula is enriched with a vitaminic complex that helps covering the requirements during childhood and adolescence. It is important to outline the content of calcium and also antioxidant vitamins and minerals such as vitamin E, Selenium and Zinc which prevent from the oxidation of essential fatty acids and protect from oxidative damage.
Provides an osmolarity and renal charge that enhances the digestive tolerance and reduce the risk of metabolic stress.

One drink of FontActiv®Junior provides 267 kcal, which is 13% of the RDI. Macronutrients energy distribution is adapted to the recommendations of a balanced diet. All the necessary vitamins and minerals for a correct metabolism functioning are provided. The mix of prebiotics and probiotics helps in regulating the intestinal transit and recovering a healthy microbiota.

Preparation and recommended intakes
FontActiv® Junior is easily dissolved in liquids such as water or milk. To prepare one drink of 200 ml, add 4 level spoonfuls of powder (56 g) to 160 ml of liquid. The recommended daily dose must be determined by a doctor or nutritionist deppending on individual needs. As a supplement, the recommended dose is 1 to 3 servings per day.
FontActiv® Junior can be as well used to enrich vegetal purees, soups or desserts.
