Otovowen - first aid for earache and otitis media
At the first sign of earache, the well-tolerated homeopathic medicine Otovowen can be administered orally - consult a doctor anyway. For decades, the recipe of black elderberry, purple coneflower, real chamomile, Canadian tormentil and homeopathic potencies has proven itself for the internal treatment of middle ear infections. They have an anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving effect and activate the immune system.
Since the middle ear is anatomically deep in the head, it cannot be reached for treatment via the outer ear. The eardrum forms an anatomical barrier. A middle ear infection can therefore only be treated with a drug that is taken orally. In the event that the eardrum is damaged and has a tear, it is strictly forbidden to use drugs that are instilled into the external auditory canal (local anesthetic otologicals).
