How does the ingredient of the medicine work?

Phenazon: The active ingredient has a pain-relieving, fever-reducing and, to a lesser extent, anti-inflammatory effect. It is believed that it inhibits certain messenger substances, the so-called prostaglandins, which are necessary for the sensation of pain and the development of inflammation. The substance probably lowers the fever by directly attacking the temperature regulation center.
