Nasic – the decongestant cold spray with active plus
The nasic nasal spray successfully decongests runny noses thanks to two combined active ingredients: xylometazoline and dexpanthenol. Xylometazoline constricts the vessels of the mucous membrane and can thus ensure a reduction in swelling. The decongestion of the nasal mucous membranes when you have a cold immediately increases well-being and has another decisive advantage: the risk of sinusitis is reduced if the paranasal sinuses are well ventilated. The nasal secretions can drain better again, the mucus no longer settles so easily. It is precisely the stubborn mucus that offers pathogens excellent conditions for nesting, multiplying and spreading, including in the paranasal sinuses. The xylometazoline in nasic nasal spray is a proven active ingredient
In addition, dexpanthenol cares for and supports the healing of the nasal mucosa, which is affected by blowing the nose and drying out. The active ingredients in nasic nasal spray complement each other and are stronger together than alone - so you can get rid of your cold faster.

Adults and school children spray one spray into each nostril 3 times a day as needed. Insert the spray head as vertically as possible and pump once.

What should you consider?
- The medicine itself may cause a feeling of stuffy nose. If you try to eliminate this feeling with the help of this remedy, you risk permanently damaging the nasal mucosa. The effect can already occur after an application of 5-7 days.
- Preservatives (eg benzalkonium chloride) can cause swelling of the nasal mucosa if used for a long time. If such a reaction (persistent nasal congestion) is suspected, a preservative-free nasal medicine should be used.
- There may be medicines with which interactions occur. You should therefore generally tell your doctor or pharmacist about any other medicine you are already using before starting treatment with a new medicine. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, use only occasionally or have been using for some time.
How do the ingredients of the drug work?
The drug consists of a combination of active ingredients. The active ingredient xylometazoline contracts the dilated veins in the mucous membrane of the nose. As a result, it throttles the excessive blood flow to the olfactory organ and swells the mucous membrane. Breathing through the nose is made easier. Also, it doesn't run all the time. The active ingredient dexpanthenol heals injured skin and mucous membranes. It is related to pantothenic acid, a vitamin involved in important metabolic processes in the body. Damaged skin or mucous membranes lack pantothenic acid. Dexpanthenol is converted into pantothenic acid in the body and thus compensates for the missing vitamin. This protects the nasal mucosa and accelerates the healing of damaged mucosa.
