The lozenges help loosen stubborn mucus and soothe irritated bronchi. At the same time, the inflammation in the bronchi is combated.
The essential oil contained in thyme has an expectorant, antispasmodic and disinfecting effect. The lungs and bronchi as well as the stomach and intestines are the organs where thyme mainly develops its positive effects.
Application:
Practical for on the go: simply let the tablets melt in your mouth. Up to the age of 12 please take 1 tablet 5-8 times a day, after the age of 12 take 2 tablets 5-8 times a day.

Bronchicum® Thyme Lozenges are a traditional herbal medicinal product.
Bronchicum® thyme lozenges are traditionally used to support the dissolution of mucus in the respiratory tract.

2. What do you need to know before taking Bronchicum® Thyme Lozenges?
Bronchicum® Thyme Lozenges should not be used if you
- are allergic (hypersensitive) to thyme or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.
Particular caution is required when using Bronchicum® Thyme Lozenges:
Give Bronchicum® Thyme Lozenges to children under the age of 6 only after consulting a doctor, as there is not enough experience to date for a general recommendation for this age group.
When using Bronchicum® Thymian Lozenges with other medicines:
No known interactions.
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are using or have recently used any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
pregnancy and breast feeding period
Since there are insufficient studies available, Bronchicum® Thyme lozenges should not be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Driving and using machines:
No special precautions are necessary.
3. How should Bronchicum® Thyme Lozenges be used?
Always take Bronchicum® Thyme Lozenges exactly as directed in this leaflet. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
1 - 2 lozenges several times a day.
Let Bronchicum® Thyme Lozenges slowly melt in your mouth.
In principle, the duration of use is not limited.
Bronchicum® Thyme Lozenges is too strong or too weak.
Symptoms of poisoning with Bronchicum® Thyme lozenges can be largely ruled out.
If you have forgotten to use Bronchicum® Thyme Lozenges:
Do not take a double dose and continue taking it as usual. If you have any further questions on the use of the medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
4. What side effects are possible?
Like all medicines, Bronchicum® thyme lozenges can have side effects, but these do not necessarily occur in everyone being treated.
The frequency of side effects is based on the following categories:
Very common: affects more than 1 in 10 people
Common: affects 1 to 10 users in 100
Uncommon: affects 1 to 10 users in 1,000
Rare: affects 1 to 10 users in 10,000
Very rare: affects less than 1 user in 10,000
Not known: frequency cannot be estimated from the available
data Things to watch out for and actions to take if affected:
If you are affected by one of the side effects listed below, stop taking Bronchicum® Thyme Lozenges and see your doctor as soon as possible. Very rarely, allergic skin changes such as skin rash (exanthema) and hives (urticaria) as well as swelling of the face, mouth and/or throat (Quincke's edema) can occur. Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet.
5. How should Bronchicum® Thyme Lozenges be stored?
You may no longer use Bronchicum® Thyme lozenges after the expiry date stated on the carton and the blister strips after "Use by:". The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Storage conditions:
Do not store above 25°C.
