RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE: Silomat® against dry cough Pentoxyverine drops should only be used for dry coughs without mucus formation. Adults take 20-30 drops several times a day. For children, the dosage is based on weight, according to the attached table. The drops can be diluted with water or taken undiluted.

COUGHING IS NOT ALWAYS THE SAME
Cough is used to clean the respiratory tract. If mucus is found, that's a good sign. Because the mucus contains harmful bacteria, which the body rids itself of in this way. Such a cough should not be suppressed. Unlike the dry cough, where no sputum is found. This puts unnecessary strain on the airways.
