LEGAVIT is a dietary supplement feed for dogs and cats that contains milk thistle (Silybum marianum) plant extract.
Supporting effects on liver function are described in the literature for milk thistle extracts. Methionine is an essential amino acid for dogs and cats.
Methionine is primarily required for the synthesis of cysteine and phospholipids, which are essential cell wall components. As a building block of enzymes, the amino acid cysteine is able to prevent damage to cell walls. Vitamin B12 plays an important role in various biosynthetic processes in the liver and other organs. Vitamin B12 is also important for blood formation and the regeneration of epithelial cells. Essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic acid) are required for building cell wall structures. They are essential components of the phospholipids stored there and play an important role in energy metabolism.

Nutritional Analytical Constituents: Vitamin B12 186,200mcg (100mcg per tablet), DL-methionine with dye 92.96g (0.05g per tablet)
Dosage:
- Large dogs: 3 to 4 tablets per day
- Medium dogs: 2 to 3 tablets per day
- Small dogs: 1 to 2 tablets per day
- Cats: 1 tablet per day
If possible, give half of the specified amounts in the morning and half in the evening. In addition, offer water for free intake. Initially administer up to 6 months. It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before using or extending the feeding time.
