Just like in humans, the intestines are the center of health in animals , and well-being depends to a large extent on optimal colonization of the intestines.
For whom is OMNi-BiOTiC® CAT & DOG suitable?
The microbiome of cats and dogs fulfills vital tasks and is very similar to that of humans in composition and function. The friends in the animal intestine are responsible, among other things, for ensuring that food can be utilized and that indigestible or harmful substances are excreted again.
Important vitamins, enzymes, antibiotic substances and hormones are also produced by the intestinal bacteria, as are important short-chain fatty acids. These are particularly important for keeping the intestinal mucosa healthy, as they supply its cells with energy.
As in humans, the intestinal mucosa itself forms an effective barrier against pollutants and disease-causing viruses, parasites and germs. In addition, up to 80% of all immune cells in the body are located in the intestines, which, together with the intestinal barrier, are of central importance for animal health.

OMNi-BiOTiC® CAT & DOG is an innovative probiotic that was specially developed for cats and dogs to stabilize the sensitive animal intestinal flora. As with our products for human owners, the proven OMNi-BiOTiC® quality is also the top priority for OMNi-BiOTiC® CAT & DOG:
Two scientifically tested strains of bacteria that are specifically suitable for cats and dogs – Enterococcus faecium NCIMB 10415 and Lactobacillus acidophilus CECT 4529 – which are particularly well suited for stabilizing the intestinal flora, are combined in OMNi-BiOTiC® CAT & DOG.
The special feature: The high number of useful microbes contained guarantees that even the smallest possible daily dose contains at least 1.25 billion viable and reproductive bacteria.
The intestinal bacteria for cats and dogs are supplemented with the high-quality dietary fiber MOS (mannan-oligosaccharides), which serves as food for the beneficial bacteria in the animal intestine and thus as a basis for life.

Digestive disorders caused by animal feed
Diet-related diarrhea is one of the most common complaints of the animal digestive tract.

New home and new owner

Antibiotics: clear-cutting the intestines
Antibiotics are a "miracle weapon" for humans and animals alike when it comes to fighting harmful germs.
Unfortunately, these drugs cannot distinguish between good and bad bacteria, and so the useful "helpers" are destroyed in every antibiotic therapy, even in the animal's intestine.
The result: pathogenic germs (e.g. Clostridium perfringens, salmonella) can spread almost unhindered and not only cause diarrhea, but also permanently change the composition of the intestinal flora, so that the intestinal bacteria are permanently impaired in the performance of their tasks.
How is OMNi-BiOTiC® CAT & DOG used?
OMNi-BiOTiC® CAT & DOG is suitable for cats and dogs of all ages.
The powder is added to the food (wet or dry) or a little liquid (activation time is not required), the feeding recommendation depends on the pet's weight:
Animals up to < 16 kg:
1 x daily ½ measuring spoon (= 1.25 x 109 CFU*)
Animals from 16 to < 30 kg:
1 x daily 1 measuring spoon (= 2.5 x 109 CFU*)
Animals from 30 to < 40 kg:
1 x daily 2 measuring spoons (= 5 x 109 KBE*)
Animals over 40 kg:
1 x daily 2-3 measuring spoons (= 5 or 7.5 x 109 KBE*)
If necessary, use OMNi-BiOTiC ® CAT & DOG recommended for at least 2-4 weeks.
In the context of long-term use, half the dosage can also be administered.
