Area of application
Liadin® Irritable Bowel is used to treat symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. Typical symptoms of IBS include diarrhea, constipation, bloating and abdominal pain.
Liadin® Irritable Bowel supports proper bowel function, promotes the normalization of the intestinal flora and helps to reduce flatulence, diarrhea and constipation.
At the same time, due to its synergetic composition of active ingredients, Liadin® Irritable Bowel can form a protective film on the damaged intestinal wall and helps with the important mass formation in the intestine.
Purpose
Liadin® Irritable Bowel has a high ability to bind water like a sponge, which helps to reduce the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome.
In the event of constipation, the substance releases the water into the stool that has not been passed, increasing its volume and reducing its hardness. In the case of
diarrhea, the substance continues to bind water in the large intestine, which helps to strengthen the stool.
The prebiotic effect of the substance helps restore normal intestinal flora. The addition of simethicone can absorb intestinal gases and reduce abdominal pain.
Usage and dosage
Take 1 sachet per day. It is possible to increase the dosage up to 2 sachets per day.
Liadin® Irritable Bowel can be taken in its original state, with water or another drink (juice, yoghurt) or diluted. Do not take directly from the sachet. The recommended duration of treatment is four weeks (28 days). If symptoms have not improved significantly after this time, consult your doctor.
Mechanism of Action
Liadin® Irritable Bowel Syndrome contains partially hydrolyzed guar gum (PHGG) and simethicone, which work synergistically in treating symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome.
The partially hydrolyzed guar gum absorbs a large amount of water into the intraluminal space and inflates the stool, increasing its bulk. At the same time, the fibers are useful in reducing frequent and severe diarrheal diseases due to their ability to absorb and neutralize exogenous and endogenous toxins.
Guar gum also regulates bowel functions and increases stool hydration, making it lubricious and bulky.
In addition, it binds harmful substances such as excess bile acids and promotes their elimination. The simethicone has the function of a defoamer and anti-foaming agent and prevents foaming in the stomach. In addition, it empties the foam that
is usually formed in the stomach dyspeptic.
